Getting Started Guide

This guide is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to your Cimmaron Mortgage Manager account. These five steps will take you through many of the key features. This is not intended as an in-depth training tool or complete overview of ALL available features and benefits. You can access additional in-depth video training tutorials and written support documenation on our support site.

Step One - Reset Your Password

If you recently received the Welcome to Cimmaron setup e-mail, use that to access your Username and a Reset Password link.

If you've already installed Mortgage Manager Windows Version, but don't know your password, launch Mortgage Manager from the Windows desktop shortcut and use the Reset Password link on the login screen (see the Reset your Password support post for more information).



Step Two - Install the Mortgage Manager Windows Version

Follow the instructions in the Welcome to Cimmaron setup e-mail to install the Mortgage Manager Windows Version (contact your administrator if you haven't received the setup e-mail). Note for Citrix users - the Windows version should already be installed and available on your Citrix desktop.

The following pointers are designed to help you get started with some key system components:

First Time Login
  • Update your user profile – this is similar to your business card in its function, so make sure your title, phone numbers, license, etc. are accurate: Update Your Profile
Contacts
  • Add a contact – the basics of adding a mortgage contact: Add a Contact
  • Add a Referral Partner – since Referral Contacts are often a key part of your overall marketing plan, it is helpful to know how to add them: Add a Referral Contact
  • Contact Finder – lets you retrieve your contacts: Find Your Contacts

Step Three - Install the Mobile App

Take your CRM on the road using the mobile app version of the Mortgage Manager CRM solution, bringing the power of the Windows and web-based versions to your phone.

You can install the mobile app from the app store on your phone:

During the installation you will be asked a few questions:
  • Username and Password – These are the same values that you use to log into the Windows and web-based versions of Mortgage Manager CRM.
  • Application ID – You only need to enter this during the installation procedure and your Application ID can be found in the Welcome to Cimmaron setup e-mail. You can also locate the Application ID by logging into your Windows version of Mortgage Manager. The Application ID value is the 7-digit number displayed in the lower right-hand corner of the main screen once you’ve logged in.

  • Use Bio Metric Access – By selecting this feature, you can quickly and easily log into the mobile app using your phone’s bio metric access features (fingerprint, thumbprint, facial recognition). This is highly recommended if your phone support this feature.
  • Allow Notifications – This is recommended to allow Cimmaron to send push notifications to your phone when certain CRM events happen (new lead notifications, text messages from your contacts, and other selected trigger events).

Step Four - Review Your Cimmaron Marketing Content

Cimmaron's mortgage marketing content helps you to reach out and stay in front of your prospects, clients, and referral partners. This 100% original content includes drip campaigns and e-mail templates covering a wide-variety of your marketing needs, including purchase and refinance prospects, new Internet leads, loan status updates, referral partner follow-up, holiday messages, home loan anniversaries, and more.

Step Five - Try Out the Enterprise Features

The Enterprise Plan adds the power of two-way texting, video marketing, and monthly newsletters to your Mortgage Manager solution.

Two-way Text Messaging

Video Email Marketing

The mobile app video feature makes this process quick and easy and integrates with built-in video templates to help you deliver video e-mail messages to your prospects, clients, and referral partners from anywhere, anytime.
