Loans with an "In Transaction" status require a value in these Property Address fields:

Address 1, City, State, Zip

If you have more than one Loan with an "In Transaction" status, you need to have the Property Address fields defined for each Loan.  In many cases, this happens when a duplicate loan is entered in your LOS (Ellie Mae Encompass, Calyx Point, etc.) and the original loan isn't marked as canceled.

If that's the case, you can cancel the first loan or fix the data issue reported in the error message.

Follow these steps to update the Loan Property Address:

  1. Click on the Loan Details tab.
  2. Click on the Subject Property Address tab in the Loan Details screen.
  3. Enter a value in Address 1, City, State, Zip.  Address 1 can use a generic value, such as: TBD.
  4. Click Save.

If one of the loans isn't a valid loan, you can optionally mark it as Cancelled in Loan Status History instead of adding a Property Address.

  1. Click on the Loan Details tab.
  2. Click on the Details tab in the Loan Details screen.
  3. Add a date value for the Cancelled or Denied Loan Status entries in Loan Status History.
  4. Click Save.

I see this message when I try to save a contact:  “A Property Address is required on all In Transaction loans when there are multiple In Transaction loans”
