Call Forwarding Policy

When you use the Contact Chat feature in Mortgage Manager, a recipient may decide to call the text number back. Since that is a business number and not your actual cell phone, you would want to forward their phone call. You can specify a policy that gives you the ability to choose what number is used for call forwarding.

To begin, go to Policy Editor within the Admin Tools Menu Group (Figure 1):

Choose the SMS Line Voice Forwarding option (Figure 2):

Select the phone number to use for call forwarding and optionally set up a Connecting Prompt that the caller will hear while being transferred (Figure 3):

The default number that is used for forwarding is the cell phone in your User Profile. You can also use other numbers, such as a hunt group for the sales team, depending on various factors including the type of contact that is calling.
