Using System User Chat

[Note: This feature is also available on the Mobile Mortgage Manager app]

Mortgage Manager lets you easily communicate with the System User Chat feature. In this example, the following users will communicate regarding the contact shown below:

  1. LOA - Loan Officer Assistant -Tamie King
  2. LO - Loan Officer - Sidney Preston
  3. LP - Loan Processor - Mike Andrews
  4. Contact - Steve Liston

To begin, click Activate This Channel under System User Channel from a contact screen. Note that you only need to activate the channel once for a contact (Figure 1):

After you activate the channel, the screen looks like this (Figure 2):

Since the Contact Owner (Loan Officer Sidney Preston) is already included in the Recipients list, you can just type your message into the Send Message Box and either click Send Message or just press Enter (Figure 3):

If the recipient has the contact open, the message will display in the message list. Otherwise, a notification appears in the lower-right area of the screen (Figure 4):

The recipient can then click on the notification (Figure 5):

After clicking on the notification, the recipient will see this contact screen (Figure 6):

The recipient can then type “@m” into the Send Message Box to display a list of Recipients matching that letter and then click on Mike Andrews. Since there is only one name matching the letter M in this example, he can just press Enter to select that user (Figure 7):

Note that the name Mike Andrews displays in green to signify that it is a valid username. Sidney can then type his message and press Enter (Figure 8):

The Loan Processor (Mike Andrews) can then reply to Sidney (Figure 9:)

Sidney will receive a message notification (Figure 10):

The reply is shown in Message List (Figure 11):

This example reflects the various aspects of communication among multiple system users and how each one can send and receive messages.
