Mobile Mortgage Manager App - Chat with a Contact using Two-Way Texting

Mobile Mortgage Manager has functionality for sending and receiving text messages, while saving all communication within the contact screen.

To begin, select a contact type (such as Prospects) from your Dashboard in Mobile Mortgage Manager (Figure 1):

(Figure 1: Mobile Mortgage Manager - Dashboard)

Tap on one of the contacts on your list (Figure 2):

(Figure 2: Prospect List)

This example shows a contact with a Mobile Phone Number, but if you need to add it, tap on Edit in the upper-right area (Figure 3):

(Figure 3: Contact - Tap Edit)

You can add or edit the contact’s Mobile Phone Number and then tap on Done in the upper-right area (Figure 4):

Tap on Chat near the top of the screen (Figure 5):

If no text messages have yet been sent from this contact, activate the Texting Channel by tapping on No Active Channels within the Channels section (Figure 6):

(Figure 6: Chat - No Active Channels)

Tap on Texting Channel to activate it (Figure 7):

(Figure 7: Activate Texting Channel)

Tap on OK to confirm (Figure 8):

With the Texting Channel activated, you can type a text message and send it to the contact (Figure 9):

(Figure 9: Texting Channel - Text Message)

Notice that the outbound message is captured and saved, as is the reply from the contact along with all future messages (Figure 10):

(Figure 10: Texting Channel - Messages Saved)

The Chat Channel can be used to communicate with both the contact and the co-borrower, as well as other users on your team. For example, your Loan Officer Assistant can send a message to the co-borrower, and the Loan Processor can answer questions about an appraisal.

Users don't need to worry about missing messages. Push notifications are sent to both the desktop and mobile versions when new messages arrive.
