Contact Lead Source Tracking for Referral Partners (Web)

An important aspect of managing your leads is to know where they came from, or the Lead Source, which is one of the most frequently used fields in Mortgage Manager.

One of the most commonly used Lead Source values is Referral. In this example, open Contact Finder and set Lead Source to Referral and click Find. (Figure 1):

The results of the search would look something like this (Figure 2):

You can refine the search further by using a Date Range based on the Date Entered field (Figure 3):

Alternately, you may want to search for a specific Referral Contact, and you can do that by entering all or part of the Referral Contact’s Last Name and/or Referral Company (Figure 4):

To get the full picture, it helps to know where Referral Contact information is stored. If we look at the Contact screen, the Referral Contact field is in the Basic Info area along with Lead Source (Figure 5):

The Lead Source field helps you to keep track of Referral Partners and the business that they send to your company.
