One of the most important and frequently used features of Mortgage Manager is the Contact Finder

To open it, go to the Main category of the vertical menu and click on Contact Finder (Figure 1):

Contact Finder by default uses the Quick Find tab, which allows you to enter search criteria (Figure 2). Key items include:
  • Find Now button – returns the results for search criteria.
  • Reset Fields button – resets all criteria fields to blank.
  • Contact Owner field – allows you to search for contacts where you are the contact owner or select another contact owner to search for contacts belong to that user (depending on your security settings). Defaults to the account of the currently logged in user.

You can enter criteria into any of the fields and click Find Now to see the results. For example, to find all contacts whose last name begins with the letter L, type the L into the Last Name field and either click Find Now or simply press Enter(Figure 3):

The bottom part of the screen shows the Results Grid, which displays the records that come up based on the search criteria (Figure 4). Note:
  • Right above the Results Grid, the label Resulting Matches is followed by the record count.
  • The Results Grid displays all the contacts matching your criteria with the currently selected record highlighted.

You can double-click on a selected record (or press Enter on your keyboard) to open the contact in the Contact Detail View screen. Note that you can return to the Contact Finder screen by clicking on the Contact Finder tab at the top of the screen (Figure 5):
